Taupo Santa Parade

Taupo Christmas Parade, Saturday 6th December 2008.
It was an excellent morning for the parade sunny and not a cloud in
the sky ( usual Taupo weather ). Wayne & Gill, Wayne’s Mum , Mignon, Peter Gibb, Marty & Mal ( our kids ) & Myself all put
the final touches to the float before heading to Lake Terrace at 12pm for the judging. We were joined there by the Harris
Family with their 2 cars and kids and Graham Harvey with his GTP. 1pm we moved through the streets of Taupo and on to the
Domain where we were a static display for an hour. Unfortunately we did not win any prizes but got a lot of compliments and
had a Heap of Fun. Thanks to all those who showed up and to all the helpers. Ian
